Having used the ‘original’ Nutribullet for two years, upgrading to this ‘pro’ version has been a real step up both in terms of power and the larger cup accessories that you get included, and I’m really pleased with the upgrade.

The pro version genuinely gets my morning smoothies smoother (e.g. there are no seeds leftover AT ALL from my blueberries or flax seeds) and the cups are so much bigger so it’s great for when I’m making breakfast for both me and my wife.

I have uploaded a couple of photos to show you what you get as well as how the pro looks.

With the tallest cup on the unit measures 37.5cm high and roughly 12.5cm in diameter (exactly the same as the original model).

In the box you get:

1 x Nutribullet base

1 x Extractor blade

1 x Large cup – enough for two big morning smoothies

1 x Medium cup – which I find is just big enough for one ‘extra-large’ smoothie

1 x Lip ring with handle – I don’t often use this

1 x Flip-op lid – can be handy but again I don’t use often

1 x Stay fresh lid – great if you don’t finish a smoothie and put back in the fridge or if you want to prep your smoothie and blitz later

1 x User manual with recipes – not used

1 x Pocket nutritionist – this is also not useful for me, aimed at those that want to know about fruit and veg benefits

I use my Nutribullet almost daily and its footprint is so small on the kitchen worktop that it’s well-deserving of a permanent space next to our kettle. So I don’t use the pro any more than the original but it just makes a better job of things in my opinion and comes with larger cups.

Build quality feels great too, with the base having a nice weight to it and a brushed metal finish on the body not only feels good but is really easy to keep clean.

I’d highly recommend using frozen fruit as it gets smoothies colder and is often cheaper. I buy all of my frozen fruit direct from the supermarket (already frozen - I use and can recommend Waitrose frozen blueberries) then put them straight into the pro (no thawing!), and the pro blitzes them all up, no problem.

One key thing to note is that I the original accessories I have for my first Nutribullet also fit the pro which is handy so if you too are looking to upgrade make sure you keep everything.

All of the cups are dishwasher safe but I find a quick wash straight after use does the trick.

All in all, I have no criticisms of the pro at all, it’s a great step up from the original and really is just one of those machines that are so fit for purpose. Highly recommended.
